Course Description
These courses comply with the Disabled Discrimination Act 2005 & Equality Act 2010. It is important that steps are taken and documented to show your commitment to EVERYONE being able to evacuate your premises or depending on your evacuation plan, get to a place of safety at a refuge point.
The aim of the course is to assist in your pre-planning for those who may be temporarily or permanently mobility impaired. This may not always be a member of staff, it could easily be a visitor to your premise.
The importance of fire safety in the workplace is underpinned by health and safety legislation that places a duty on employers to establish policies and procedures and ensure their employees receive appropriate training.
We look to give every delegate a chance to use the chair practically in your premises, in both the moving and sitting position.
Each participant receives a certificate after successfully completing the course.

This OFQUAL qualification should be renewed every 3 years ( or as directed by your insurers)

We look to have groups of 12 – 15 but larger groups can be accommodated with more trainers being supplied.
