Care homes present high fire risks due to vulnerable residents, the use of flammable materials, and complex evacuation needs. Staff must be fully prepared to act quickly and safely in an emergency.
At 1st Choice Safety Training & Consultancy, we deliver specialist fire safety training for care homes, tailored to meet the unique challenges of this environment. Our courses are led by experienced firefighters and focus on practical, hands-on learning.
We also offer live fire training using a gas-powered fire simulator, giving staff the opportunity to use real extinguishers in a safe, controlled setting, building confidence and understanding of fire response.
All training complies with current health and safety regulations, helping your care home meet legal obligations and improve resident safety. Certificates are provided for all participants upon completion.
