Fire Evacuation Chair / Evacuation Sheet Training

These courses comply with the Disability Discrimination Act 2005 & Equality Act 2010. It is important that steps are taken and documented to show your commitment to EVERYONE being able to evacuate your premises or depending on your evacuation plan, get to a place of ‘relative safety’ at a refuge point.

The aim of the course is to assist in your pre-planning for those who may be temporarily or permanently mobility impaired. This may not always be a member of staff, it could easily be a visitor to your premises.

The importance of fire safety in the workplace is underpinned by health and safety legislation that places a duty on employers to establish policies and procedures and ensure their employees receive appropriate training.

We look to give every delegate a chance to use the chair / sheet practically in your premises, as both the person assisting and the person being assisted.

Each participant receives a certificate after successfully completing the course.

This course assists you to comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.and the Disability Discrimination Act 2005 & the Equality Act 2010. They are delivered at your premises at a time to suit your operations, ensuring business continuity.
