What to Expect During Fire Marshal Training

Our Fire Marshal and Fire Warden Training course ensures your business meets its legal fire safety obligations while giving staff the confidence to act effectively in an emergency. Suitable for all sectors, the course combines engaging theory with hands-on practical training delivered by experienced fire service professionals. You are in safe hands with the course being delivered by firefighters and trained experts.

Delegates will learn how to prevent fires, manage evacuations, understand human behaviour in fire situations, and use fire extinguishers safely. By the end of the course, participants will have the knowledge and confidence to take control during an incident and support the safe evacuation of colleagues and visitors.

This training can be taken as a 1st Choice Certificate of Attendance or an Ofqual Level 2 in Fire Safety, helping organisations of all sizes strengthen workplace safety and compliance.

Course Duration: Approx 3.5 Hours with Live Fire Practical.

This course complies with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and is usually delivered at your premises at a time to suit your operations.

To ensure business continuity for those who work hybrid or remotely, you may wish to book your staff onto our virtual sessions. They can log on from anywhere as long as they have a good internet connection and our trainers will carry out exactly the same live course, only remotely. Additional Information

Certificate Renewal
Fire Marshal and Fire Warden certification should be renewed every 3 years (or sooner if required by your insurers). We’ll provide a helpful reminder before refresher training is due, ensuring your business stays compliant. We also recommend regular fire drills and ongoing staff training to keep fire safety knowledge current.

Group Sizes
Our standard maximum group size is 16 delegates per session, allowing for interactive and effective learning. However, larger groups can be accommodated on request, simply let us know your requirements, and we’ll tailor the course delivery to suit your organisation.
