Our virtual classroom training

To enable companies to manage the health and safety of their people during the pandemic, 1st Choice Safety launched a brand new portfolio of virtual classroom training courses.

1st Choice Safety has responded with a suite of convenient, practical courses that give employers the tools to manage risks associated with fire, manual handling and mental illness and many other subject matters. Everything is live and as it would be in a face to face setting.

By shifting to this new way of learning, we have been able to facilitate training for companies who have their staff in multiple locations, working from home or in a hybrid agreement. As long as the staff member can get a good Wifi connection, they should be able to participate in the session.

As we live in a time when more companies are considering their Corporate and Social Responsibilities, this form of training can often assist them with fulfilling some of their requirements. We wrote a short blog detailing some advantages of this form of carrying out a course. Why not view it here:

1st Choice Safety’s experienced team of trainers use video conferencing technology to create virtual classrooms that deliver first class health and safety training that’s relevant, convenient and effective.

These are some of the more popular courses delivered in our virtual classroom

Fire Safety Training

We understand a fire emergency situation can be a stressful and nerve-racking time, which is why it is important to educate your staff with the right knowledge and training to help them to prevent this happening, but if it should, know how to deal with the event. Our courses can include live fire extinguisher training.

Mental Health First Aid Training

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the mental health equivalent of physical first aid. This training is an internationally recognised and accredited two-day course developed by Mental Health First Aid England. It is designed to raise awareness of mental health and reduce the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health issues.

Manual Handling

Our quality manual handling courses are designed to help your employees obtain a comprehensive understanding of manual handling and to help reduce the risks and accidents derived from lifting, lowering and much more.
